Description

Briess Carapils Copper is a darker variant of Briess Carapils Malt, with more malty graham cracker, toasty aroma.

In the United States Briess owns the Carapils trademark, while in other markets Weyermann owns the name.

Carapils increases foam, helps head retention and enhances mouthfeel without adding flavour.

Devoid of enzymes, can be steeped in hot water or mashed.

Suggested usage rates:

  • 10% Adds copper/orange hues
  • 20% Reddish colour
  • 30% Solidly a red ale
